Nicotine labeling can be confusing. Some products list nicotine in milligrams (mg) while others use percentages. Here is how to understand both.
MG Labeling
A 35mg nicotine e-liquid contains 35 milligrams of nicotine per milliliter of liquid. This is the most common labeling system in the US.
Percentage Labeling
A 3.5% nicotine product contains 3.5% nicotine by volume, which equals 35mg/ml. The percentage is simply the mg value divided by 10.
